The Opportunity
Alo was growing into a premium brand, but the site photography hadn’t caught up. Flat light, static poses, and images shot straight-on. It looked wholesale. I saw the gap between where the brand was headed and what the site was communicating, developed a new approach, and sold it to leadership. No new budget, no new timeline.
The Direction
Dimensional lighting to add richness and depth
Poses that reflect what the brand actually sells: movement and fashion-forward luxury
Images shot with flexibility in mind, so they could live on site and across marketing
The Result
The photography went from single-use to channel-ready, usable across site, email, and social in ways the previous approach couldn’t support. Alo’s photography has come a long way since, and this is where that evolution started.
